This new baby boy is going to be born at the end of spring/begining of summer, so I'm worried about the harmful sun on his skin since we are ALWAYS on the go it seems. With Jeffery, he was born in winter, and Jaylin was born at the end of the summer so I never really had to worry about the sun. I was worried, until now! I found the Buggy Bubble! This neat little invention fits over an infant carseat (which we already have!) and protects baby from 98% of the suns harmful UVA & UVB rays! When I first got the Buggy Bubble, I was worried it wouldn't work with the carseat base (you know, the one we can leave in the car, and just put the carseat in and out easily without worrying with buckling everytime), but that was easily put at ease. I put the Buggy Bubble on our brand new carseat, and then I snapped it into the car base...it FIT and it come out just as easy! I love that it has a nice screen over the entire top of the carseat (leaving the handle out of course lol) That means it will keep bugs off of him as well! It also comes with a cover that protects against rain as well!! The rain cover is hidden in a nice little pouch, just unzip when it rains, and put it away when its nice! When Jaylin was a baby, it was winter, and we got one of those carseat covers from walmart, you know the ones that pretty much lay ontop of the baby and is very thick...I didn't like it much, i was afraid she'd suffocate. With Buggy Bubble, I don't have to worry about it, it's up and away from the baby (it comes up to right below the handle), not to mention its made of a mesh type material so it's breathable. When Buggy Bubble zips open, it is wide and long, so it gives PLENTY of space to get the baby out!
I know one thing for SURE, as much as we took Jeffery and Jaylin out in their carseats, the Buggy Bubble is going to get plenty of use around here!
