That Program?

I've had a lot of people emailing, and commenting asking about "that program" that everyone is talking about, and I mentioned in this weeks Monday Mingle. So I decided to post about it, and inform everyone, so yall aren't in the dark.

As most of you all know, I host a lot of reviews and giveaways, and for giveaways I promote them on multiple sites, which requires me to copy and paste the link and type out the name of the giveaway. Jeff saw me doing this during the B2S Spectacular and decided to create a program to help me (he loves to program, he's no professional, but he has fun with it, and is darn good too!) He created "ClipboardWiz" the first version. I would put what I wanted to keep saved in this program (example: giveaway links) and I could name it (example: for the giveaway links I would name it "X Giveaway link" or something) so I could find it in the list easier...then when I needed it again, I just had to click it in this list and it automatically copied. Then I'd just paste it where I needed, no need to highlight, then right click and copy...just click and then paste! I had some issues with the 1st version, so I asked him to change some things and he made it perfect! Even to where I could change the color of the program! I use it everytime I have giveaways I need to promote, and also keep other things there such as my email address for entering giveaways and such.

So, yesterday I decided to share it with some of my blogging friends (the ones I chat on Skype with), I didn't think it would be a huge hit, but I mentioned it to them when they mentioned they use Notepad to keep stuff and copy from there. After a long morning of troubleshooting to get it to work, Erin from Mrs. Cox's Slice o' Heaven was the 1st to get it up and running. She then helped Jennifer from Eighty MPH Mom get going while I wasn't on the computer...it slowly started being downloaded by a few others and I walked them through the process of installing it correctly. After everyone had it, and used it...Jeff and myself got praises from them. They loved it...hence the reason he joined in Monday Mingle, so they could all see him. He was the talk of Skype yesterday, and still is somewhat today.

I'm not sure if he wants his program to go out public completely yet, he let me share it with my closest friends on here free of charge. If anyone else wants the program, please let me know by emailing me at monkey_mayhem@comcast.net with the subject ClipboardWiz so I can get an general idea of how many would be interested. I'm also not sure if he still wants it to go out free, it would be nice to make a little off of this (not horribly expensive though) since he would probably have to tweak a few things to make sure it's perfect, and it's slightly time consuming.

I am happy that those that do have it, are very happy with it! I'm glad I was able to help them out!
