My Plate Mate Give-a-Way

Win a My Plate Mate!!
Photobucket
My Plate Mate is a great product for parents of kids learning to self feed. I personally haven't tried this product, but have been given the opportunity to pass it along to my readers!

The Plate Mate attaches easily to any round 8"-9 1/2" plate to assist children in getting their food on their fork. It's a "spill guard" that teaches and fosters indepencence to those who have difficulty feeding themselves.

It's dishwasher safe, made of FDA approved food grade plastic. My Plate Mate is also made in the USA and free of lead, BPA, and pthalates. They come in 3 fantastic colors, pink, blue and white!

Here's what others have said about My Plate Mate:

“Finally, a hassle-free meal! My son was able to eat completely independently, which made for a happy family meal time. The Plate-Mate is a terrific solution for eaters of any age!”
--Nikaela – Hawaii

"This is a wonderful teaching tool. I especially liked its versatility and practicality. It fit all of my plates and I was eventually able to have my son use a big boy/adult plate with it.”

I love that I'm not going to have to give my daughter 3 different bowls at dinner time.

We normally feed our children for quite a while. I love that this looks like it will foster earlier eating independence!

Rachel said...

I think this is a brilliant idea. My son always gets food all over the table when he eats. This would be the perfect solution!

agordon10 said...

I love the concept, my kids are always dropping their food and making the dog fat

Alison said...

That looks very helpful for helping my toddler learn to eat in a less messy way without my having to feed him!

Anonymous said...

I really like the raised lip to allow them the ability to keep working on perfecting their scooping and forking skills.

I like that it might help my disabled 3 year old eat with a fork with confidence instead of his fingers. He gets frustrated when he pushes his food off his plate with his fork, so he just gives up and uses his hands.

PS the "my link" is to my blog where I mentioned you!

I love the whole idea and think its just brilliant!! The colours are great too!

I already did this once, but it never showed up, :(
Everyday when we eat I have one heck of a mess to clean up after my son is finished eating... This item would help out so much. Not only with the mess, but also help him with getting the food on his fork.

This would be great for helping my little one learn to use a big boy plate. He tries to be just like his big brother, but doesn't quite have the skills to do so yet. It would help him learn as well as help me by keeping his messes to a minimum.
Great give-a-way! thanks

I love the fact that it makes it easier for the child to eat without getting food onto the table. I think it will make the child feel like one of the "big kids" to be able to use any plate.

Ames said...

I think that I should use this - then I wouldn't need my fingers to get tricky foods on the fork... That's also a reason I think it's great for kids - so they DON'T need to use their fingers :)
