Holiday Gift Guide: Ebeanstalk (review)

My kids love to use their imagination, pretend play and all that fun stuff, especially with cars, trucks and any vehicle really (yes even my princess Jaylin!). So when Ebeanstalk sent them an Activity Bus to try out, they were thrilled!

The Ebeanstalk Activity Bus is made out of wood, and it's just adorable. It opens up into a classroom which is awesome. The Activity Bus includes 2 little people, 3 desks, a chalkboard and some little books. Jeffery and Jaylin spent hours fighting over playing with it. I love how it opened their imaginations, the people talked to each other, sat in the desks, drove the bus, and taught each other, I always enjoy watching them play together, but even more so when it was stretching their imaginations like the Activity Bus did! I could just watch their little brains growing. The little door opens and shuts, and there's even a little seat for the bus driver to sit!

Everything with it was simple, the little people were made of wood, and their legs moved, but not like a normal toy, these have a sting/elastic that connects them that enables the legs to move, their arms are made out of string, and their hair is made of string. Cute! I've never seen anything like this!

The only problem I had with the Activity Bus was that about 2 weeks after we had it, it broke. The hinge that opens the bus is also made out of wood (if there was any metal on this toy I didn't see it). It was pretty much a wooden dowel going down the back of the other side, and it's thin so the other side broke when the kids hit it a little too hard. All that ran through my head was "splinters" Jeff tried to fix it, because it honestly broke their hearts that they couldn't play with the bus anymore, but when he would use wood glue or super glue to put it back together, another area would break. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that it's made out of wood, that's what made it so unique to me and I liked that, I just wish some parts of it were a little more durable.

The kids did enjoy the toy when it wasn't broke, and they still play with the accessories that come with it! I think all in all it was a pretty good toy! Ebeanstalk carries a lot of different types of toys, and for all ages! Check out Ebeanstalk's toys today! Makes a great Christmas or birthday gift!

That is really cute! I can remember playing with items like that when I was small.

That looks like a really fun toy. It sucks that it broke so the kids can't play with it anymore.
