The title of this is quite dumb, right? Give me a break, it's 11:00pm and I just got finished grocery shopping...but I had to post about this!
As I was loading groceries in my van this evening, the cart was between my van and the car beside me...with no room on either side of the cart for anything (I'm bad at parking, I was crooked) I noticed a lady loading something into the car, and come around the truck, I immediately stopped loading groceries and backed the cart out, I had intended to wait for her to leave before I finished. Instead, she told me to keep going, she would wait. I made sure she was sure, I didn't want her to wait if she didn't have to...but she insisted. So I turn around and put more bags in and when I turned around, she was handing me my groceries. It was nice, and I told her she didn't have to do this...but again, she insisted. So she helped me load the rest of my groceries, and after I got the dog food and cat litter off the bottom of the cart, while I was loading them, she put my cart in the cart return! Now, had this happen in my little town where everyone knows everyone, I wouldn't have been so surprised (you can read about my small town experiences HERE and HERE) But I do my big grocery shopping in the "city", it's about 30minutes away from here...it's actually one of the closest Wal-marts around here. I thanked the nice lady a couple more times and we went our separate ways. I just enjoy when I run into nice people like that! I had to share :)

It's amazing what a little civility and kindness can do! I hope it gets paid back to her 10 times! :) Thanks for sharing
That is sooooo sweet! It always catches me off guard when a stranger does something nice.. Sad to say, it really is not so common these days
